Our Doctors

The Be Well board-certified radiologists have many years of experience in
interpreting CT scans. They are on staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical
Center and teach at Harvard Medical School. They will explain your scan
results in a clear and understandable manner. If any abnormalities are detected,
the radiologist will work with you and your physician to make sure you receive
the appropriate follow-up care. |

Max P. Rosen, MD, MPH
Medical Director Be Well Body Scan

Dr. Rosen graduated from Brown University and Tufts Medical School. He also
completed a Masters in Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health.
Dr. Rosen, an associate professor of radiology at Harvard Medical School,
is the recipient of several awards in radiology, including the Young Investigator
award from the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, The
Memorial Award from the Society of Gastrointestinal Radiologists and a GE-AUR
fellowship from the Association of University Radiologists. He is a fellow
of the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology and the American
Heart Association and Vice-President of the Massachusetts Radiology Society.

Vassilios Raptopoulos, MD

Dr. Raptopoulos is associate radiologist-in-chief for clinical affairs at
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, and professor of radiology
at Harvard Medical School. He is a graduate of Aristotelion University School
of Medicine, Thessaloniki, Greece and trained in radiology at Georgetown
University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Raptopoulos has been president
of the New England Roentgen Ray Society and the New England Society of Ultrasound
in Medicine. He is the author or co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed
publications in CT scanning and abdominal imaging. |

Peter Gross, MD

Dr. Gross graduated from Tufts University Medical School in 1971, and following
an internship in Pediatrics, completed his Radiology Residency at New England
Medical Center in 1975. Following a career of more than 20 years in community
based radiology practice, Dr. Gross joined the staff of Beth Israel Deaconess
Medical Center in 1998 where he has continued to focus his interests in
mammography and outpatient Radiology. He currently serves as the director
of Radiology at two outpatient clinics in the CareGroup system. Dr. Gross
is an instructor in Radiology at Harvard medical School. |

Ann McNamara MD

Dr. McNamara completed her medical degree at Trinity College,
Dublin, Ireland in 1990 and a Fellowship in Surgery at Royal College of
Surgeons in Ireland in 1994. Following her Residency in Radiology at the
Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Dr. McNamara entered a fellowship
in Abdominal Imaging at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, which
she completed in June 2002. She is currently a staff radiologist in Body
Imaging and Ultrasound at BIDMC and an Instructor in radiology at Harvard
Medical School. Her interests include pelvic imaging and quality assurance
in radiology. |

Bettina Siewert, MD

Dr. Siewert is Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard
Medical School and Staff Radiologist, Abdominal Imaging. She earned her
medical degree from Friedrich Wilhelm University Medical School in Bonn,
Germany and completed residency training in radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess
Medical Center, becoming Chief Resident in 2001. She also completed research
fellowships in MRI at the New England Deaconess and Beth Israel Hospitlas
In 1997, she completed a clinical fellowship in CT/MRI Body Imaging at
what became the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Siewert has
published more than 33 original articles and presents her work at professional
conferences worldwide. She is the recipient of The Risa and Felix Fleischner
Young Investigator Award and the Andrew Frank Berezin, MD Award for Excellence
in Clinical Mentoring of Fellow Residents. Her research interests include
imaging evaluation of acute abdominal pain.

Ms. Jane Corey
Manager

Jane Corey has more than seventeen years of managerial and marketing experience
with special expertise in radiology services. Jane holds a Certificate in
Allied Health Administration and Community Development from the Urban Learning
Center, Boston State College. She is a Certified Emergency Medical Technician,
Boston State College 1980; and has been an active member of the Professional
Association of Health Care Office Management (PAHCOM) since 1994. |

Joseph E. Fay, MM, RTR
Chief CT Technologist

Mr. Fay graduated from Bunker Hill Community College with an Associates
degree in Applied Science--Radiological Technology. After training at
Beth Israel Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, he joined Beth
Israel's radiology department. He has also worked as a diagnostic technologist
at Beth Israel Radiology at 1101 Beacon Street in Brookline. In 1999,
he joined Boston Orthopedic Group as chief technologist. He has also completed
both a Graduate Studies and a Masters program in Management and Allied
Health Administration at Cambridge College, Cambridge, MA.
