At BeWell Body Scan, our staff is committed to making our patient’s visit as enjoyable as possible. This begins with the first impression. When one calls, they will speak with Megan and she will assist the patient in scheduling an appointment that best fits their schedule.

Megan has been with BeWell for four years and prior to that has experience working for a large OB/GYN practice. She, along with the rest of the staff, has a great deal of experience with customer service. Jane Corey, the manager here at BeWell, has over 20 years of managerial and marketing experience with special expertise in radiology services. She is available to assist with any issues that one may have.

Our Doctors

Once the patient has met with one of our Board Certified Radiologists, they will then be greeted by one of our friendly Technologists. All of our Technologists here at BeWell have at least 10 years experience with CT Scanning. They are devoted to offering each patient the best care possible. Jae Kim is the Chief Technologist at BeWell Body Scan as well as Senior Technologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where he has been employed for over 15 years.With over 27 years of experience, Jae has worked with various modalities such as Diagnostic X-Ray, Intervention and CT Scan. 

The BeWell board certified Radiologists have many years experience in interpreting CT Scans. All are on staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and teach at Harvard Medical School. Rest assure that if any abnormalities are detected, the radiologist will work with you and your physician to make sure you receive the appropriate follow-up care if necessary.

Max P. Rosen, MD, MPH
Medical Director BeWell Body Scan; Chief Community Networking Services Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center

Dr. Rosen graduated from Brown University and Tufts Medical School. He also completed a Masters in Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Rosen, an associate professor of radiology at Harvard Medical School, has also received several awards in radiology including the Young Investigator award from the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, just to name a few. He is also a fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, the American Heart Association and the Vice President of the Massachusetts Radiology Society. Dr. Rosen is the Medical Director here at BeWell and has been since our inception in 2002.
Vassilios Raptopoulos, MD

Dr Raptopoulos is the Vice Chair for Clinical Services and Chief of CT at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He is also Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. He is a graduate of Aristotelian University School of Medicine, Thessaloniki, Greece and trained in radiology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Raptopoulos has been president of the New England Roentgen Ray Society and the New England Society of Ultrasound in Medicine. He is the author and co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed publications in CT scanning and abdominal imaging.

Bettina Siewert, MD

Dr. Siewert is Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and Staff Radiologist, Abdominal Imaging. She earned her medical degree from Friedrich Wilhelm University Medical School in Bonn, Germany and completed residency training in Radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, becoming Chief Resident in 2001. Dr. Siewert has published more than 33 original articles and presents her work at professional conferences worldwide. She is the recipient of The Risa and Felix Fleischner Young Investigator Award and the Andrew Frank Berezin, MD Award for Excellence in Clinical Mentoring of Fellow Residents. Her research interests include evaluation of acute abdominal pain.

Rola Shaheen, MD

Dr. Shaheen earned her medical degree from University of Jordan in Anman, Jordan and completed her residency training in Radiology at the University of Toronto Medical Center in Ontario, Canada. She is the Director of Women’s Imaging with Community Radiology, Harrington Memorial Hospital/BIDMC and is also an Instructor in Radiology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Shaheen is Canadian Board Certified in Radiology, however she is Board Eligible in the United States.

Linda M. Paul, NP

Linda Paul graduated from Fairfield University with a BS in Mathematics. She completed a Masters in Nursing from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions and received her ANCC Certification to become an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Linda began working at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 2003 working in Neurology for four years before transitioning to the Radiology Department in 2007.

Ms. Jane Corey
Manager

Jane Corey has more than twenty years of managerial and marketing experience with special expertise in radiology services. Jane holds a Certificate in Allied Health Administration and Community Development from the Urban Learning Center, Boston State College. She is a Certified Emergency Medical Technician, Boston State College 1980; and has been an active member of the Professional Association of Health Care Office Management (PAHCOM) since 1994.
